Foster & Berean | Shadow of a Doubt

Art photography commissioned by Evelyn Yard to document Foster and Berean’s show Shadow of a Doubt.

Engineered from white aluminium, these wall-based sculptures work at the intersection of art and architecture and reference the 3D models that are produced as part of architectural practice. Documenting these artworks was both challenging and immensely rewarding – the subtleties of the pieces and the white-on-white nature of the hang meant that much of photography became about the use of light to create shadow and three dimensionality, and the final images play into the artists own ideas around the confluence of physical works and virtual renders.

Gallery photography documented as part of an ongoing relationship with Evelyn Yard in London’s Fitzrovia.
